Forty grassroot coaches drafted for CAF D coaching course

Forty grassroot coaches will benefit from a Confederation of African Football (CAF) D coaching course offered by Football Kenya Federation in collaboration with Buruburu Sports Academy.Nairobi East branch Secretary General Dickson Doyo presided over the opening ceremony of the course that kicked off on Tuesday.The aspiring coaches are under the tutelage of instructors George Mwangi and former Harambee Stars head coach Zedekiah Otieno.The two instructors are expected to impart the basics of coaching and essential life skills after which, they will use the acquired knowledge and skills to nurture their players who are in the grassroot.40 grassroot coaches are currently going through a 10 day CAF D coaching course in Buruburu. FKF General Secretary Barry Otieno and Doyo presided over the opening ceremony on Monday. A host of coaches are also in the ongoing CAF B course .Some of the the tacticians who are in the class are Bidco head coach Anthony Akhulia, his Nzoia Sugar counterpart Ibrahim Shikanda, Tusker assistant coach George Maina among others.
