CAF CC: Sfaxien in Nairobi ahead of Sunday showdown against Tusker

Tusker’s opponents CS Sfaxien landed in Nairobi this morning from Tunisia ahead of Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup first-leg playoff game against them and the Kenyan champions at the Nyayo National Stadium.The two teams will be squaring it out in a two-legged tie with a group stage slot at stake. It is the first time that Tusker will be playing the North African side in any competition. The team is set to have three training sessions with the final one being the feeling of the match venue, Nyayo National Stadium. Injury boost for Tusker Meanwhile Tusker FC has been boosted by the return of three key players ahead of the game. “The team has been boosted with defenders Charles Momanyi and Kalos Kirenge as well as midfielder Clyde Senaji returning to full training. The only absentee for this game will be defender Jimmy Mbugua who has only commenced light training after picking up an ankle injury in the game against Kariobangi Sharks,” read the statement from the Brewers camp in part.The match kicks off at 3PM EAT on Sunday.
