Shashu optimistic of guiding Team Ping to the Oboya Cup podium

Former Kibera Black Stars midfielder Melvin Macharia has tipped the Dagoretti based Team Ping to clinch the ongoing Patrick Oboya Cup in South B.Macharia famously known as Shashu inspired Ping to sail to the semifinals of the tournament sponsored by Mozzart Bet after eliminating Cheza Sports 1-0 at the Police Band grounds.Shashu observed that Ping players were determined to make themselves a name in the inter-estate tournaments that have largely been dominated by other teams.The cup organized by former Kenyan international Patrick Oboya is meant to give grassroots based players the opportunity to showcase their talents even as the former winger continues to call upon top flight clubs to send their scouts to the venue and pick the best.How Kenyan midfielder came face to face with death in Thailand“We have a good team that I believe will win this Cup.
