The Africa Cup of Nations 2022, is just around the corner. It starts on the 9th of January and will be played until the 6th of February in Cameroon. As always, many African national teams will try and get all the help they can – by taking advantage of dual citizenships and origin routes of their European based players. One of the many, Boubacar Kamara, is on Senegal’s radar for the African Cup of Nations. However, the 22-year-old said at a recent press conference that The Lions of Teranga haven’t contacted him yet on the matter.I hope Boubacar Kamara choses Senegal. They’re probably the most stacked in CAF. So much talent at their disposal pic.twitter.com/9orwFT1CYZ— Ant (@Godbinna) November 14, 2021 The Olympique Marseille defensive midfielder is a native of the city at the far south of France, born to a Senegalese father and a French mother. He is elligible to play for the west African country but on Tuesday he denied the information that he has been in contact with their federation.“I know (that the tournament is coming soon) because Pape Gueye is going there. In all honesty, I don’t know if they contacted me or not, so as far as I am concerned, I don’t even have to think about it. I do not know what to answer because I have not had any personal contact with them’, explained the Marseille midfielder.Senegal national team coach Aliou Cissé is interested in the player and wants to try and bring up the best roster possible. But it all seems a bit far-fetched.Boubacar Kamara will therefore have the choice if contacted by Senegal to choose the national team that suits him best. For the moment he is one of Les Bleus but The Lions of Teranga will try to convince him to switch allegiance.LIGUE 1 – ROUND 16Wednesday21:00: (1.80) Strasbourg (3.70) Bordeaux (5.00)21:00: (2.35) Troyes (3.15) Lorient (3.50)21:00: (2.00) Brest (3.60) Saint-Etienne (4.00)21:00: (3.20) Angers (3.15) Monaco (2.50)21:00: (2.65) Metz (3.25) Montpellier (2.90)23:00: (1.98) Rennes (3.50) Lille (4.20)23:00: (1.50) PSG (4.60) Nice (7.00)23:00: (3.25) Nantes (3.30) Olympique Marseille (2.40)23:00: (3.05) Clermont (3.40) Lens (2.45)23:00: (1.53) Olympique Lyon (4.30) Reims (7.00)***odds are a subject to change
