Zico eager for top-flight league resumption after one month stoppage

KCB head coach Zedekiah Otieno is delighted with the league resumption just ours away after a month-long break due to the international break and suspension of the league by the FKF caretaker committee.The government-installed committee has since announced that football will be resuming on 4th of December with six matches set to be played on Saturday and Sunday.Before the break, the Bankers were on a great form winning three games in a row and coach Otieno has welcomed the return of football in the country. He added that they have been training well in readiness for league resumption.“Football is our job and we are happy the game is back. We have been training just as other teams and it is good we will now have a chance to play again. Bullets, currently rooted at the bottom of the FKF Premier League log with just one point after six rounds of FKF Premier League matches.Zico’s men are keen on clinching the title this season after narrowly missing out last season. The team lost the league title to Tusker FC on the final day and that is the closest they had ever come to bagging their first ever league title.They beefed up the team by acquiring the likes of David Okello, Robinson Kamura, James Mazembe, and Mohamed Kilume to help them wrestle Tusker and other teams for the title.
