NSL: Zoo and Shabana to wait longer for maiden wins of the season

Zoo FC will have to wait longer for their maiden win of the 2021/2022 National Super League season after playing Shabana to a one all draw in a second round match staged at the Awendo Green Stadium on Saturday. Zoo who were relegated by FIFA in May after being found guilty of match manipulation laboured for a similar result in the opening match against Vihiga United and hit the road to Awendo hoping to bag their first win.Justine Omwando had given Shabana the lead in the 34th minute from the spot but Sammy Ggolola replied for the Kericho based club four minutes later. The draw also means that Shabana are yet to celebrate a win this season having drawn 0-0 away to Mara Sugar in their first match.Fulltime: Shabana 1 Zoo Fc 1— Shabana Fc Kenya (@Shabanafckenya) December 4, 2021 Mombasa Elite grabbed the Coastal derby bragging rights after edging Coast Heroes by a solitary goal at the Serani grounds.Musa Maraka was the difference in the match as his goal was enough to give them maximum points as well as helped them maintain their one hundred percent record. At Camp Toyoyo, Murang’a Seal rescued a point deep into stoppage time to share spoils with Dandora Love.
