Okewa eyes NSL’s top scorer’s feat after marking debut with a hat-trick

After marking his National Super League debut with a hat-trick, Mombasa Elite forward Wardfine Okewa believes that he has the mettle to become the league’s best scorer. Okewa scored three times when Elite ran over Dandora Love 4-1 last Saturday at Camp Toyoyo becoming the first player in the league to walk home with the match day football.The forward who joined the rebranded coastal side before the season began from division two side Bongonaya that has gained famed in recent times for producing enterprising talents. Scoring goals will help the club achieve its targets and at the same time will market me. Agwanda has won the league with Gor Mahia and has previously donned the Harambee Stars shirt.“I was nicknamed Agwanda back in high school. Even though I have never met him in person, I am aware of his rich achievements which I envy and want to surpass,” he added.
