Under pressure Casa-Mbungo decries the absence of Star boy and Msagha in Gor Mahia stalemate

Bandari head coach Andre Casa Mbungo says the team distinctly felt the absence of the prodigious duo of Abdallah Hassan and Darius Msagha during their barren draw against Gor Mahia last weekend.Mbungo didn’t have the luxury of selecting the two wingers when he lined up his charges against the record champions thanks to the injuries they picked in previous assignments. The dockers were seeking to end their two-game winless run prior to the game having bagged two successive draws but lack of cutting edge in the final third was rife and had to settle for a point.45’| Goal @BandariOfficial Abdallah Hassan gets his 2nd of the day.Bandari 2-0 Talanta#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/Rip9L6fhQo— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) October 31, 2021 Mbungo revealed that the two influential flankers were due to sit out for an unspecified period with Benjamin Mosha and Chris Ochieng following them on the treatment table. Both Mosha and Ochieng were in action against Gor with the latter making to the starting team.“We missed the services of the injured Hassan and Msagha in our away tie to Gor. The two are players who have the capacity to inspire the team to get positive results against an opponent of Gor’s calibre or any other team in the league. Unfortunately, Chris and Mosha also got injured in the game and will be out for some time,” he regretted. While lamenting over the likeliness of the four missing their next match against Kariobangi Sharks, the former AFC Leopards boss welcomed the return of his skipper Bernard Odhiambo who had been nursing a knee injury.Mzinyi! 🔥🔥Watu wetu wa Taita, kijana wenu Darius “Mombasa” Msagha anarudi nyumbani na kikosi kizima cha Bandari. I am looking forward to having him in the starting team in the near future,” added the Rwandese trainer.
