Tusker goalkeeper linked with a move to Rwanda

Rwandan goalkeeper Emery Mvuyekure has been linked with a move to APR from Rwanda after ending his three-year stay with Tusker FC.Mvuyekure, who had fallen down the pecking order at Tusker since the arrival of Brian Bwire and Patrick Matasi has opted to walk out of the club for a new adventure with a host of clubs from within and outside the country courting him.Out of favour Mvuyekure set to ditch struggling Tusker this weekAPR is reportedly now in pole position for his service. The military outfit is keen on beefing up its goalkeeping department and views the Rwanda national team keeper as an ideal signing for them.Tusker were keen on retaining Mvuyekure but it appears he had made up his mind over a departure.”Emery is a quality goalkeeper and we definitely want him to remain with the team so that he can bring competition in that department. The winger had ended his five-year stay at the Ruaraka-based side after sealing a move to the Kenya Defence Forces where he is expected to play for Ulinzi Stars after completing his military training. The future of out-of-contract left-back Hillary Wandera and midfield maestro Jackson Macharia remains in doubt.On the positive, David Majak is back training with the team after his six-month loan deal in Sweden expired. He will be re-registered in January.
