Ouma seeks to humble Posta and preserve Sofapaka’s recent unbeaten run

David Ouma will be seeking to guide Sofapaka to their third win in four matches when the 2009 league champions take on Posta Rangers at Wundanyi Stadium on Saturday 18 December.Ouma has been in charge in the last three matches that have seen them take seven points and will hope to floor the Mailmen and inch closer to the top five bracket.Impeccable sources from Sofapaka indicate that Ouma was handed the leadership mantle after his boss Kennedy Odhiambo was granted permission to attend to a family matter. For the time the former Harambee Starlets head coach has been at the helm, Sofapaka have done incredibly well, raking in seven points out of a possible nine.Ahead of the match, Ouma will have to do without the services of the trio of Kevin Omondi, Ambrose Sifuna and Hamid Mohammed who are all nursing injuries.Omondi, a custodian who joined the club last year from Wazito sustained a hip injury during their barren draw against Tusker while Sifuna has been out for some time. Mohammed on the other hand is down with Malaria.🔵 Fixture Update🔜 We welcome @posta_rangers@betikaKe@OyandoRonny#BatotoBaMungu pic.twitter.com/A8i0QHa0ff— Sofapaka FC (@FC_Sofapaka) December 16, 2021 Sofapaka centre back Stephen Okola says besides going for the three points, the team will also be hoping to keep a clean sheet.“We want to beat Rangers in a convincing way.
