Bobby praises workaholic Abuya after goal against Wazito

Kenya Police FC head coach John Bobby Ogola has heaped praise on midfielder Duke Abuya for his work ethic since he joined the club in October from Zambian side, Nkana FC.The Harambee Stars midfielder has been in great form for the Law Enforcers despite their league struggles where they have managed just two wins in nine games and currently occupy the 12th position in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) log with just eight points.Dribbling, great passing and good runs are some of his qualities but for Ogola, Abuya’s best attribute is his work ethic. He is happy with the player’s work rate saying that he always gives his best in each and every game.“The good thing about Duke is that he works, he never tires. A champion only rests when he wins and he is an important player for us because he is one player who gives his all every time,” he stated.PHOTO DUMP WAZITO FC 1-1 KENYA POLICE FC pic.twitter.com/T5alui4vcP— KENYA POLICE FC (@kenyapolicefc) December 11, 2021 On Saturday Police will be looking for their third win of the season when they welcome Bidco to Kasarani. The team will also welcome captain Musa Mohammed back. The central defender missed last weekend’s match against Wazito FC through suspension and for Ogola, Musa’s return is a big boost for his team.“We will have Musa back which is a big boost for us because of his quality and experience. We missed him against Wazito but Duncan Otieno filled in well. When he returns, Duncan will go back to midfield and I think we will be more solid having both players on the pitch,” he stated. He also wants his team to take the chances that they have been creating and according to him, they have been throwing away too many chances which return to haunt them.“Our problem has been in converting chances but as you know scoring is just a moment, you either get it right or not. The positive thing is we are creating chances; many of them and we will now have to work on finishing which is the final thing. With time I believe that we will get it right,” he added.
