London is truly a megalopolis and many people love the city and want to live there. And sometimes, one wish could lead to problems in some people’s lives but they don’t get it. One of them is the former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Willian, who wanted to stay in London so bad, that the decided to switch clubs, a rival ones, just to stay in the UK’s capital. And he was wrong, since the admitted he wanted to get out of his new club after just three months. Short-term relationship with money involved – Arsenal and Willian in a nutshellAfter a great season in Chelsea, where he scored 11 goals and assisted in nine others in 2019, the Brazilian was expecting a new three year deal, but he didn’t get it, and left the club after seven years at Stamford Bridge. Wanting desperately to stay in London, he choose Arsenal and their offer of 36 million Ksh a week in 2020. This ‘marriage’ ended with a contract termination in 2021, after a disappointing season with only 16 starts and a lot of fans fury, since he came from rivals Chelsea for a big wage, but showed nothing. “I was not happy, that’s why I didn’t perform. I don’t want to go into the details, but I wasn’t happy. So, when I arrived there I was happy, from the beginning I was motivated, I wanted to do well, new club, new mates, new projects. After three months, I told my agent “please, I want to go”.
