Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) leading scorer Felix Oluoch has gone on a four-game scoring drought but is utilising the Christmas break to sharpen on his finishing. Oluoch has taken the league by a storm scoring six goals after completing the move from APs Bomet to Kariobangi Sharks in the offseason transfer window.New Shark elated after marking debut with a braceSpeaking to Mozzart Sport, Oluoch revealed that Sharks strikers are now putting an extra shift in training to ensure they get on the scoresheet more regularly. “It was been a tough period because we have not performed well, that break seems to have affected us plus I haven’t been feeling well but now I’m back to full fitness. We as strikers have been training hard both in the morning and in the afternoon because we have not been scoring a lot of goals,” said Oluoch. Oluoch became the first player to score a hat-trick in the league following the 6-0 rout against Mathare United with Nzoia Levis Barasa emulating him in the 3-1 win over Sharks. We go again today#WeAreSharks #FO19 pic.twitter.com/wclvvsFgtp— Felix Oluoch (@FelixOluoch_) December 11, 2021 With Sharks going three games without victory, Oluoch is confident that the club will turn their fortunes around when they next take on FC Talanta on Wednesday 29 December. “After this Christmas break, I’m confident we will regain our form, I think we were approaching games with the wrong mentality like the game against Nzoia. We are now not going to underestimate teams, all teams in the league are competitive despite the position they are in,” added Oluoch.
