Juma turns to uncertain transfer market in bid to salvage Vihiga Bullets’ fortunes

Vihiga Bullets head coach Abdallah Juma has conceded that only the customary mid-season transfer window that normally opens around January in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League is what could save his newly promoted side from slipping even further in their first top flight season. In the current campaign, Bullets, who secured automatic promotion to the top tier after their second place finish in the 2020/2021 National Super League season, find themselves massively off the pace as they sit in last place on the log table having managed a paltry two points after eleven rounds of matches played.TWO GOOD! We need some experienced faces to try and help the team because that is the area we are lacking in. We really need to make some signings in January to help the team. Otherwise it will be a toll order,” the former western Stima coach bemoaned following their loss against Sofapaka.✔️ Two goals✔️ Clean sheet✔️ Three points📺 Highlights from our 2-0 win over @VihigaClub@betikaKe@OyandoRonny#BatotoBaMungu pic.twitter.com/HMAXF9Dd3w— Sofapaka FC (@FC_Sofapaka) December 29, 2021 Unfortunately, with the disbandment of the Football Kenya Federation, no information has been relayed as to whether the transfer window will be opened and who will oversee the transfer dealings between clubs such as things to do with International Transfer Certificate (ITC) clearance.
