FKF Premier League side Nzoia Sugar FC will interview coaches for the vacant coaching role at the club next week, club chairman Evans Kadenge has confirmed.Nzoia are currently without a coach following the departure of Ibrahim Shikanda four weeks ago. Club legend and team manager Kevin Muraya has been in charge of the team for the last five games where they have registered three draws and a defeat and are firmly in the danger zone.The team is struggling this season with just one win to their name. They are just two points above the relegation zone an indicator that things have to change soonest.Kadenge has revealed that they are expecting clearance from the parent sponsor, Nzoia Sugar Company to enable them to begin the recruitment procedure. He disclosed that they have already received many applications from good coaches and that they will conduct interviews next week. We expect the management to give us an okay to interview those who have applied for the job next week. Some may work with the people they find in the team while some would want to bring their own people. So the decision as to whether we will have a new assistant coach will largely be dependant on who we hand the job, he will advise us on the way forward,” he added.Nzoia will play FC Talanta on Sunday in Nairobi.
