Abubeker Nassir who won the hearts of many with his dazzling displays in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for Ethiopia is in South Africa for trials at PSL giants Mamelodi Sundowns. His outstanding performances earned him several accolades including being crowned the league’s top goals scorer, Best Young Player, and the Most Valuable Player.He was part of the team that took part in the 2016 AFCON U-17 qualifiers that beat Egypt in Cairo for the first time and capped his wonderful performance in the game with a goal.
