Miracle working Ambani lauds Wazito’s fighting spirit after clawing back at Bandari

Wazito FC head coach Fred Ambani has lauded his charges’ fighting spirit after the one-all draw against Bandari on Monday at the Kasarani Annex.Wazito left it late to salvage a point in the game. Bandari had gone ahead in the first half through Johanna Mwita before Michael Owino earned Wazito a point with a stoppage-time leveler. It was a case of pushing and pushing even it looked like the Dockers were set to pick maximum points from the match. The draw also preserved Ambani’s record of not losing a match since he returned to Wazito a fortnight ago. He has registered two wins and a draw.Ambani was left impressed by the team’s fighting spirit and wants them to maintain the same going forward. He further lauded the playing unit for showing resilience in the game.GalleryWazito FC Vs Bandari FC#Wazito4life pic.twitter.com/IsF96wcRke— Wazito Football Club (@wazitofc) January 25, 2022 “These players are fighters, they never gave up until the final whistle and it paid off when we scored a late goal in the game. That is the attitude I want my players to have, in football it is not over until it’s over. Anything can happen in a split second and it is important to keep pushing until the final end, the players made me proud and I really want to thank them,” he stated. The FKF Premier League takes a two week break and for Ambani it is a period that they intend to use to improve themselves ahead of their future matches. He is confident that his charges will get better with more games.“It is a good break for us because we will have more time to train and gel as a team and be more prepared for our upcoming matches, I believe that we get better with time,” he added.Next for Wazito is a match against Ulinzi Stars in Nakuru.
