Omune leaves KCB after contract expires

KCB forward Victor Omune has left the club upon the expiry of his one-year contract with the club, Mozzart Sport can report.The former AFC Leopards and Nairobi Stima attacker joined the Bankers in January 2021 and was majorly used as a sub by coach Zedekiah Otieno. His bit-part role at the club has resulted in him leaving after his contract expired.A source from the club has confirmed his departure with former Kariobangi Sharks striker Sydney Lokale who was recently acquired by the club taking his place.“It is true Omune has left the club. He was not playing much and the club opted now to renew his contract. Messi, as he is famously referred to left the Bankers for Kenya Police FC, he made his debut over the week.The team is working towards replacing the left-back and have earmarked a couple of FKF Premier League left-backs for possible signing.The Bankers are currently fifth on the FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) table with 28 points, five off leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.
