Gianni Infantino finds a way to save Africans from drowning in the Mediterranean

Are you watching the news? Poverty and hatred breed war, war breeds death and sorrow, leaving many people displaced from their homes and forcing them to leave their fatherland in search of a better life. Lack of jobs pushes people to desolation and crime. And that’s how it’s been for far too long. Every day is a struggle and a challenge, especially in parts of Africa. Poor people put their lives on the line in desperate attempts to cross to Europe and get away from their woes. Many don’t make it. It’s grim. But that’s all about to change. All hail the Saviour of Africa, Gianni Infantino. After what must have been decades of research and planning, the FIFA president has found a solution for Africa’s problems. The poor people don’t need infrastructure, jobs, houses, water or food. All they need for a better life is for World Cups to take place every two years rather than every four years. That’s it. FIFA President Gianni Infantino suggested that a biennial World Cup would prevent Africans from fleeing to Europe in search of better lives. pic.twitter.com/8sfr2igT0b— Zachary Oguda (@zaxoguda) January 26, 2022 Speaking at the Council of Europe, Mr Infantino made a speech that made the entire world take notice and also clean their ears – just in case something was misheard.”We need to give hope to Africans so they don’t need to cross the Mediterranean in order to find, maybe, a better life but more probably death in the sea. We need to give opportunities and we need to give dignity, not by giving charity but by allowing the rest of the world to participate.”##EDITORS_CHOICE##After ridding Europe of hunger, homelessness, racism, unemployment, injustice and terrorism, Mr Infantino and the European Council took the time to address the inconvenient fact that there are unfortunate people living down south, across the Mediterranean Sea. Well, thank you very much for that, Gianni. We’re forever indebted to you.FIFA wants to break the long tradition of World Cups because it’s easy money. Broadcasting income, sponsorship money, advertising money, all kinds of money. It’s all about the money. It’s not about the sport, the love of the game, the fans, and it is most certainly not about the people of Africa, their dignity or their lives. It’s about money and some more of it.In selling biennial World Cup to the Council of Europe, Gianni Infantino, not a parody version, really said this: “We have to give Africans hope so they don’t have to cross the Mediterranean to be able to have a better life here. We have to give them opportunities and dignity.” pic.twitter.com/ewRkqksd9d— tariq panja (@tariqpanja) January 26, 2022 Don’t for a minute let Gianni Infantino and his organization tell you that they care about the game they’re supposed to nurture or the people who love it. The sheer fact that a man in such an important position would even suggest that the frequency of World Cup finals has anything to do with people losing their lives in the sea is disgusting and disrespectful.Shame on you, Gianni Infantino.
