Sharks winger ruled out for lengthy spell on the sidelines again

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) outfit Kariobangi Sharks have been dealt a hammer blow in their title chasing playing unit following the news that pacy winger Patrick Ngunyi is set to be sidelined from action for a lengthy spell.In an injury update provided by the club, Sharks revealed that Ngunyi is set to miss action for at least three months after undergoing surgery on a problematic knee injury that has consequently ruled out the midfielder from featuring in league games for the William Muluya coached side.🚨 INJURY UPDATE 🚨🗞️| Speedstar Patrick Ngunyi has undergone a patellar tendon debridement surgery.🤕| He will be out of action for 180 days.#WeAreSharks #BetwaySharks pic.twitter.com/prHf8OLP85— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) January 26, 2022 This is not the first time the midfielder has been forced to go under the knife for a correction procedure. Back in April 2021, Ngunyi underwent an arthroscopic surgery on a patellar tendonitis that he had developed.“Patrick Ngunyi who had been diagnosed with patellar tendonitis underwent a successful athroscopy yesterday has been discharged today.
