Struggling Turkish giants Galatasaray have reignited their pursuit of former Kenyan international Victor Wanyama. The transfer reports indicate that the Turkish giant’s managers have been in contact with 30-year-old and his Club de Foot Montréal manager Wilfried Nancy over the possibility of a move. Galatasaray were also interested in the services of Wanyama back in January 2020 as they were set to offer him a lifeline from Tottenham Hotspur after being overlooked by Jose Mourinho. Turkish clubs have been on the radar of Kenyan players with Johanna Omolo playing for Kocaelispor and was in the books of Erzurumspor with Michael Olunga also linked with a move to Fenerbahçe.
