Shami raves after scoring fourth goal of the season, vows to work harder

Tusker FC midfielder Shami Kibwana has expressed his delight at finding the back of the net yet again. He scored Tusker’s second goal in the 2-0 win over Ulinzi Stars at Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday afternoon.Kibwana joined the Brewers at the start of season after his contract expired. He has previously played for Thika United, KCB and AFC Leopards in the FKF Premier League.The midfielder came off the bench on Sunday and moments later Tusker got two quick-fire goals courtesy of him and Jackson Macharia. The win stretched Tusker’s recently discovered fine run in the FKF Premier League.In an interview with the club media, the former Kakamega Homeboyz man expressed his delight at adding yet another goal to his name. But now I have scored for and it is now a challenge to try and do better. More is to come,” said Shami.The skillful midfielder hasn’t seen much play time in recent weeks, majorly coming off the bench and the player admits that he has to keep improving in order to get more playtime.“Football is about patience and dynamics. When you sit out, you have to support those who are starting and keep working for your chance. When it comes, grab it with both hands,” Kibwana adds.The two teams meet again on Wednesday in Nakuru.
