FKF Premier League giants, Gor Mahia have released nominees for their January player of the month gong, an award whose winner walks home with Ksh. 20,000 courtesy of the club partners.In January, Gor Mahia played a total of six matches, they registered two wins, three draws and one defeat. It is also the month that they disbanded the technical bench that was led by English coach Mark Harisson and appointed Andreas Spier as his successor.Spier has been in charge of two games and registered a 3-1 win in the first game against Posta Rangers. The three are all forwards. They are Samuel Onyango, Boniface Omondi and Peter Lwasa.In December, former AFC Leopards midfielder Austin Odhiambo beat his competitors to bag the monetary award. The winner of the award is selected by fans through SMS voting.After the international break, the record leg champions will travel to Mombasa to play struggling Bandari. The match will be played on Sunday 27th February at the Mbaraki Sports Club.
