Carnegie Mellon is No. 1 in the first spring 2022 Mizuno WGCA Div. III Coaches Poll

Carnegie Mellon is the top-ranked women’s golf team in the first spring 2022 Mizuno WGCA Div. III Coaches Poll released by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

Carnegie Mellon garnered eight first-place votes. Four other teams collected first-place votes in the poll, with No. 4 Williams College getting three of them. No. 2 Emory and No. 3 Methodist each received one first-place vote. George Fox rounds out the top-5.

The Tartans last competed in the 2021 Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational, where they finished third among the 20 teams in the field. Next up is the Savannah Invitational at The Club at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Georgia, March 7-8.
