The PGA Tour is midway through its Florida Swing and hosts its flagship event this week in Ponte Vedra Beach.
After both Bryson DeChambeau and Kevin Na withdrew, the field for this year’s 2022 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass now features 46 of the world’s top-50 players, including defending champion Justin Thomas. For the first time, the top-five players in the world are all under the age of 30.
The Players Stadium Course will play to 7,256 yards with a par of 72 for the tournament, which boasts a record $20 million purse, where a cool $3.6 million will go to the winner.
