I am a proud coach of the Slum Boys and I would like to see that character on the field. I think when I came in it was not there but it is now evidently present. The most important thing is now to focus on consistency. With 13 matches to go, I believe surviving is doable,” Kamau said. The former Wazito FC assistant coach however is still bemoaning fitness levels at his side, noting that they are still low but insisting it is all work in progress and they will get it right to survive the chop.FT: Kariobangi Sharks 1-1 Mathare United 64′ A.Omija / 82′ E.Wethuli #SharksVsMathare pic.twitter.com/9SWLfT4PKy— Mathare United FC (@MathareUtd) March 9, 2022 Kamau further revealed that helping Mathare United survive the drop will be such a delight for him at the end of the season when his initial contract with the team is set to lapse.”In terms of fitness level, I can rate my team six out of 10. I have a very short-term agreement with Mathare United and seeing the team remain in the FKFPL would make me very proud at the end of the season,” he added.Mathare play Bidco United in their next outing on Sunday.
