NSL: Sacco praying for fortunes in Shabana clash

National Super League (NSL) leaders Fortune Sacco will be focused on opening a five-point gap at the apex of the standings when they take on Shabana on Sunday at the Awendo Green Stadium.Fortunes have been in favour of the Kirinyaga-based team as they are two points ahead of second-placed APS Bomet who are not in action this weekend and a win over the resurgent Shabana will see them sit at the top comfortably.Fortune head coach Nicodemus Omasete earlier on admitted that picking maximum points at Awendo will not be a walk in the park owing to Shabana’s recent run.”It is definitely going to be a tough game because Shabana is an old team, a seasoned giant of Kenyan football and you always expect a hard match when you face them, especially at their backyard. He said they had done their homework well and urged his players to meticulously execute the plan as drafted in training.”That said, we have also prepared well for the game, we understand their style of play and we know how best to counter them.
