Mutanda hopeful of a new home in the next transfer window

Former KCB forward Ian Mutanda has his fingers crossed ahead of the next transfer as he will be hunting for a new team after failing to secure a new home in the mid-season transfer window.Mutanda was reduced to a free agent after shockingly leaving National Super League side Kisumu All Stars in December last year and his search for a new club in January failed to yield fruits.Ian Samuel Mutanda was really delighted to score a tremendous hat trick in the final NSL match against Thika United yesterday.#KisumuAllStars #Otenga #SpiritOfKisumu pic.twitter.com/nU9MBXf36J— Kisumu AllStars FC (@KisumuAllstars) June 10, 2019 The lanky forward had joined All Stars famously known as Otenga late last year on a six-month long deal for a second stint after running out his contract with KCB.Even though his deal was to run up to January, he walked out out of All Stars a month to the tail end of the contract with hopes of securing return to top flight football but that never came to pass and subsequently, will miss the remainder of the season. Punter wins big in ten-match bet slip”I can’t wait for the next window as I will be looking to return to active football. I was unlucky not to get a deal in January but I believe that I will get a handful in the next window. My dream is to play in the top flight again,” he said. The former national U23 trialist regretted that the advances from Bidco United and Kariobangi Sharks did not materialize but was confident that there will be renewed interest from the duo after the final round of the season.90′ | SubstitutionIan Mutanda 🔄 Derrick Otanga@PostaRangersFC 0️⃣-3️⃣ @KCBFootball #POSKCB#Believe #LionHearted— KCB Football Club 😷 (@KCBFootball) November 29, 2020 The two top flight sides were reportedly eyeing his signature in January but all did not go to plan owing to the player’s inability to secure a release letter from All Stars.” I were to sign either with Bidco or Sharks but both deals collapsed after I failed to get a release letter.
