Kenya Police FC and AFC Leopards will face off at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon in an FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) return leg match with both teams keen on picking maximum points.When the two teams met a fortnight ago at the same venue, Ingwe new boy John Makwata came off the bench to cancel Elvis Rupia’s goal to ensure that the two teams walked home with a point each after a one-all draw.The second leg is an opportunity for both teams to make amends for the mistakes made in the first leg and put in a better performance at Nyayo Stadium.Police under new coach Sammy Omolo are yet to taste defeat, they defeated Gor Mahia in his first game in charge before settling for a one-all draw with Ingwe. Leopards on the other hand are yet to taste defeat at the Nyayo National Stadium. Since returning to Nyayo Stadium late last year, the team has enjoyed a relatively good run with the worst outcome at the venue being draws.Kenya Police will welcome back defender Harun Shakava who sat out of the first leg through injury but Leopards have bigger problems. Earlier this week, they lost three midfielders who started the first leg against Police. If we defended better and kept the ball better in the first leg I believe that we would have picked a win in that game,” he stated.Eugene Mukangula, who earlier this week was named new Ingwe captain after Nabwire’s exit says he is keen to lead the team to a top-five finish and a win against Police will put them on a course to achieving that target.“As a team, we have our objective for the season and I will be a proud man to see us achieve it at the end of the season. Finishing inside the top five will be a good start for me as the captain,” he told Mozzart Sport.The match kicks off at 3 PM.
