Fortune Sacco boss reveals transfer plans

Fortune Sacco FC head coach Nicodemus Omasete is hopeful that the FKF Caretaker Committee will allow National Super League (NSL) clubs to beef up their squads for the second leg that starts on Saturday.NSL sides had requested a two-week midseason transfer window to enable them to beef up their squads ahead of a rigorous second leg where teams like Fortunes, who are second in the table will be pushing for promotion to the top tier. The committee is yet to make a decision on the request meaning that clubs will have to make use of the players they had in the first leg. Omasete is however hopeful that they will be allowed to rope in players are he has departments that he feels need beefing up.Shabana fc has staged a promising start to the 2021/22 campaign as they are currently 3rd-placed after the first leg matches, and could leapfrog Fortune Sacco to number two on the log should they win their game at hand against Murang’a Seal @bevalynekwambo3 #ShabanafcFundDrive pic.twitter.com/aqRbLyrkmZ— simba N Joseph (@SimbaJoseph) April 12, 2022 “We requested that we be allowed a two-week transfer window to enable us to sign players and we are still waiting for feedback from the caretaker committee.
