Oluoch exudes confidence in landing Golden Boot gong

Kariobangi Sharks forward Felix Oluoch is hoping to become the fourth player at the club to bag the Golden Boot in the last six seasons as he currently leads the charts.The former APS Bomet forward has plundered 11 goals this season and hit the ground running at Sharks having joined at the start of the season from the National Super League (NSL) outfit.Muluya urges Oluoch to aim higher after hitting double digitsIn the last six seasons, Sharks players have claimed the top scorer’s award with Masud Juma being the pioneer in 2017 and Eric Kapaito bagging it twice in 2018 and 2021.Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Oluoch balmed his stuttering run of goals to injuries this season as he was confident of landing the gong should he stay fit till curtains come falling on the season.“It is just that I’ve had a number of injuries this season but had I been fit, I’m sure I would have scored more goals which would have opened up some gap at the top.I feel like where I have reached currently, scoring is not a problem it’s like I’m now used to it.
