Juventus, the Godfathers of all undeserved wins defeats Sassuolo

When you play against Juventus, the basic rule is to score at least two goals more than them, since the Old Lady is the greatest possible example of a team which wins even when they are the worst team on the pitch. The tenth-placed Sassoulo had won four and drawn one of their last five games at the Stadio Mapei but their unbeaten streak came to an end, as Juventus won the game 2-1, even thou they were second best. This way, former Italian champions increased their distance from Roma to 6 points, as they look to strengthen their chances to play Champions League next season. They are currently 4th, with only 3 points less than Napoli at the 3rd position. Moise Kean was 𝐩𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐝 to win it for Juve in the 88th minute 🎉 pic.twitter.com/TalCbjisTZ— B/R Football (@brfootball) April 25, 2022 Juve played a pale, mediocre game, of that we are certain. Sassuolo had 22 total shots, compared to Juve’s 10 and even controlled possession against the guests (64-36%), but failed to use their chances, as they allowed the Old Lady to completely overturn the result after trailing 1-0 in the 38th minute. And statistics show that Juve knows how to get the result away from home. They are unbeaten on the road since October, and in fact lost only one game overall in the last 19 in Serie A. They also got their sweet little revenge over Sassuolo, who defeated them 2-1 in Turin, in the first duel this season.💪🏻⚪️⚫️#SassuoloJuve #ForzaJuve pic.twitter.com/WK1VNxQgRw— JuventusFC (@juventusfc) April 25, 2022 Raspadori showed early on that he is in good mood in this match with a great shot in the 11th minute, but his shot went just inches near the fart post. Then Scamacca had a chance after half an hour, but Szczesny saved his strong shot bound for the top corner. And the pressure from the first minute finally brought dividends in the 38th minute. Giacomo Raspadori got a great ball from Domenico Berardi and surprised Szczesny with a shot to his near post. But Juventus, who showed nothing before Sassuolo goal equalized through a great Dybala shot. Just before the Argentinian got the ball and smashed it under the bar, it looked that Morata made a foul, but VAR confirmed it was all clear.

After Massimiliano Allegri introduced Dusan Vlahovic instead of scored Dybala, the attention of Sassuolo defenders turned onto the big Serbian, which allowed Morata to play more freely. The result: a great strike and a near miss in the 61st minute. But Allegri wanted more physical presence and Morata was substituted with Moise Kean. The result: he scored the winning goal. The game turned into a boring affair until the last two minutes, when Juve forward got the ball, turned around Chiriches and went into the penalty area where he took a strong shot and keeper Consigli made a poor effort: 2-1 for the guests and game over.
