AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems says he was only impressed by his team’s first-half performance in the 2-1 win over KCB FC on Sunday afternoon at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.First-half goals from Victor Omune and John Makwata put Ingwe in the driving seat at halftime but a crumble in the second half nearly earned the Bankers a point. They got one back in the 71st minute through Sydney Lokale and a minute later they won a penalty which Ingwe keeper Levis Opiyo did well to deny the striker and preserve Ingwe’s advantage. I think that Lovae (Levis Opiyo) saved us on the penalty but towards the end of the game it was all long balls from them, we tried to play but we were defending in our box and I really did not like the last 20 minutes except the fact that that we fought and that is a good thing but regarding the team block tactically, we were not in position,” he added.Next for Ingwe is the Mashemeji Derby clash against Gor Maha on Sunday 8 May in Kisumu.
