More misery for Manchester’s flops: Ten Hag will start pre-season two weeks earlier

Manchester United players can’t wait the end of this season. Its one of the most miserable seasons the club has endured in the last couple of years, probably the worst since sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013. An expensive squad with lots of so called ‘stars’ and two coaches in one season didn’t manage to secure at least the Champions League place, so the players got the stick from fans, TV pundits and former players. On top of that, they will have their wages reduced by 25% since they have failed to qualify for the Europe’s most prestigious competition. And to add more sault to the wound, they will have a shorter break between two seasons!Salary reduction hit Man United players after missing out on the Champions LeagueThe Premier league season ends for the Red Devils on May 22nd in London, against Crystal Palace, and the players were supposed to come back to the training ground on July 4th. But, according to the reports from the island, new boss Eric ten Hag is not happy at all with their performances and wants them on the field earlier in order to gain shape. The Dutchman has a high pressing system which he uses in Ajax, and he wants to make sure that the players are in good shape for that high demanding system, especially in his first season. All eyes will be focused on ten Hag and the Dutchman, who is perceived to be a savior in some fan’s eyes wants to make a good first impression.22:15: (10.5) Wolverhampton (5.80) Man.City (1.27)Current Ajax coach believes many of the poor performances and results United have suffered this season could be down to their poor fitness levels and is something he is keen to correct. Ten Hag will waste no time getting to know his future players, as he arranged one on one meetings with Manchester players as of next week via Zoom. If he indeed brings them to the field earlier, they will train for almost three weeks in Manchester before they go to their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia. Ten Hag’s first game in charge will be against Liverpool at Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium.
