It was a good game, good atmosphere around. We drew but a lot of positives to take away from the game.I actually met Wambani some minutes before we stepped out. I had a short chat with him about the league and Swedish football in general and that helped me going into the game. It was nice meeting him up and going up against him on the field,” said Asike.Wambani was rested with nine minutes left on the clock as Andrew Stadler came on in his place and went on to score two minutes later with Elias Durmaz netting the leveller in the 89th minute. Asike’s parting shot after completing move to SwedenThe former Sofapaka FC defender admitted that he has fit into the team like hand to a glove but is yet to come to terms with the ever changing weather in the Scandinavian country. “I have been training with the team for three weeks now and the team’s style of play suits me. So settling in hasn’t been hard. One thing that I am still adapting to it’s their unpredictable weather,” added Asike.
