Kenyan midfielders Wilson Waweru and Magnus Breitenmoser picked up victories on Friday night for Galway United and AC Oulu respectively to cap off a brilliant outing for our stars abroad.Wilson WaweruThe Kenyan midfielder was trusted with another start as his Galway United side thumped Wexford 4-0 in an Irish Division One clash.Wexford suffered a nightmare start to the game as it took only eight minutes for Killian Brouder to open the scoring for Galway.Asike delighted to make debut against another Kenyan in SwedenThe slow start to the game for Wexford showed no signs of abating as Stephen Walsh doubled Galway’s lead six minutes later.With the wind in their sails, Galway put the game to bed in the 27th minute through that man again Walsh as they went into the halftime break with a healthy 3-0 advantage.The game went from bad to worse for Wexford as they conceded a penalty in the 71st minute that was expertly dispatched by David Hurley as Galway held on for the 4-0 win.Magnus BreitenmoserThe Kenyan midfielder completed 90 minutes as his 10-man AC Oulu side edged Honka 2-1 in a Finnish Premier League clash.The first half of the encounter was drab with little to write home about it with the only major incident being the yellow card flashed to Brazilian midfielder Rafinha.Kenyan winger seals move to BundesligaThe second half was a beehive of activities as Rafael Floro opened the scoring for Oulu in the 55th minute after Michael Lopez put the ball on a plate for him.Oulu suffered a setback in the 70th minute when Moshtagh Yaghoubi was sent for an early shower for a cynical foul as Honka capitalized five minutes later through Kevin Jansen who netted the leveller.Floro however won the game for Oulu right at the depth as he converted a penalty in the 90th minute to ensure his side collected maximum points.
