National Super League side Kibera Black Stars have regretted the latest suspension of the second and third tier football competitions by the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) saying they stand to incur losses amounting to hundreds of thousands.By the time the tribunal arrived at the decision to halt the two competitions, Kibera had already hit the road to Migori where they were scheduled to play league debutants Mara Sugar at the Awendo Green Stadium.Our team left Kibera this morning and reached Awendo, Migori county, fine. We had already planned for the match and availed finances to cater for allowances, accommodation, fuel, meals among others. The latest developments mean that we will once again be forced to deep into our pockets and travel to Migori to face Mara after the suspension is lifted and way forward communicated,” he rued.Efforts to get a comment from the Football Kenya Federation Transition Committee’s Leagues and Competitions department regarding the fate of the game that was set to kick off at 1PM were futile.
