Vihiga Bullets have been relegated from the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) after suffering a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Kenya Police FC on Sunday afternoon at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.Wazito’s 2-1 win over Posta Rangers on Saturday meant that Bullets had to beat the Law Enforcers and hope the disputed match against Gor Mahia goes their way. This would have reduced the gap between them and Wazito to a point heading into the final where the two sides will square it out in Nairobi.##NAJAVA_MECA_6436230##Things however did not go their way as the Sammy Omolo-coached side put in a good show to send Juma Abdallah’s charges to the second tier. The poor start to the season, in the end, proved costly rendering their recent rise useless.Clinton Kinanga got the ball rolling with the opening goal in the 28th minute. Eight minutes later, David Simiyu doubled the advantage after he was set up by Alvin Mang’eni. They however did not cause Police many problems at the back with the experienced Law Enforcers’ backline dealing with the task presented easily.Police top scorer Clifton Miheso put the match beyond the hosts’ reach in the 75th minute scoring the second goal off a Duke Abuya assist. The same combination created the fourth goal in the 89th minute with Miheso getting his 15th of the season to go top in the top scorers’ chart.Bullets end the season with an away game against Wazito FC in Nairobi while Police will host Bandari in Nairobi as well.
