AFC Leopards assistant coach Tom Juma has rued his side’s missed chances in the one-all draw against City Stars on Monday in Thika and believes his side should have picked more than a point against Simba wa Nairobi.Juma was in charge of Ingwe on Monday with coach Patrick Aussems out of the country. The players boycotted training and on the match day, most senior players failed to show up for the game leaving Juma with a handful of seasoned players and kids to work with. Of the eleven that started the game, six of them are youngsters who came the team’s academy but they still managed to put up a good performance and avoid a possible rout against Nicholas Muyoti’s charges.FULL TIMEAFC Leopards 1 – 1 City StarsLopaga ⚽#Ingwe | #OursForever pic.twitter.com/gOlKzOiZpt— AFC Leopards (@AFCLeopards) June 6, 2022 Despite a draw, a result that many would argue was acceptable under tough circumstances, Juma believes they should have killed off the game particularly in the second half. A win on Sunday could lift them up to fourth in he table is other result go their way.
