Juma unremorseful following Bullets relegation to the second tier

Vihiga Bullets head coach Juma Abdalla does not harbor any regrets following the team’s relegation to the second tier last Sunday.Bullets’ 4-1 defeat to Kenya Police FC at their Bukhungu Stadium backyard confirmed their drop to the second tier. The threat had been there for almost the entire season as the newbies found life in the top tier tough.##NAJAVA_MECA_6447543##Juma tried to save the team from the drop. He took over in November when a team had managed just one point in six league assignments and managed to reach 24 points before Mathare’s relegation meant they forfeited three points. The case of the abandoned game against Gor Mahia remains unresolved. For Juma, a second consecutive relegation is not something he would want on his CV, this is after last season’s relegation with Western Stima but he believes that they tried their level best.”I don’t have many regrets because I really tried my best, under very difficult circumstances. The team had managed to pick just one point when I took over but so far we have managed 27 minus the one from the Mathare United and Gor Mahia games which I believe if awarded would have boosted us a great deal, ” he told Mozzart Sport. We end the season with a home match against Vihiga Bullets. The match will be staged at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on Sunday afternoon.Kick off 3PM#Wazito4life pic.twitter.com/KFD42HSF9P— Wazito Football Club (@wazitofc) June 9, 2022 “There are matches which maybe we should not have dropped points but in football, such things happen and we find ourselves relegated, it’s sad but it’s largely because we started the season poorly, it proved to be costly in the end,” he added. On Sunday they take on Wazito FC at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani and he is keen on bowing out on a high.”We have one more game, we are going to give our best in that match and possibly win and then wait for further directions from the authorities,”.
