Kenyan internationals set to kickstart Europa Conference League action in July

Former Gor Mahia defender Frank Odhiambo is set to join the growing list of Kenyans making their bow in European tournaments after it became apparent that his Swedish outfit, Djurgardens IF, is set to commence their journey in the third tier UEFA Europa Conference League next month in July.In a draw conducted in Nyon, Switzerland on Wednesday 15 June, the team found out they will be taking on Croatian outfit HNK Rijeka in the second qualifying round of the 2022/2023 Europa Conference League action.“In just over a month, Djurgården’s European adventure will begin, and during Wednesday’s draw, it became clear that HNK Rijeka will be the opposition.
