Budding Nairobi City Stars custodian Elvis Ochoro was over the moon after belatedly making his Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) debut in the final round of the concluded season.The upcoming goalkeeper was handed his first league start when City Stars played FC Talanta to a 2-2 draw last Sunday at the Kasarani Annex.##NAJAVA_MECA_6454010##The 20-year old had faced strong competition for playing time throughout the season from Jacob Osano who finished the season with thirteen cleansheets but was finally granted his wish of making his bow when coach Nicholas Muyoti threw him in the deep end at the tail end of the season.Ochoro was also rivaling Stephen Njung’e for the opportunity to play but the latter was unfortunate to be ruled out for the remainder of the season back in April after suffering a knee injury while in action for Simba wa Nairobi.City Stars custodian identifies area to polishThe Kenyan U-20 trialist talked up that unforgettable Sunday experience at the Annex, in a game that he says presented him with a basketful of lessons even as he hopes to earn more minutes next season.“I am happy to have made my premier league debut though it has taken two seasons for it to come.
