AFC Leopards set to unveil prospective new sponsor

FKF Premier League side, AFC Leopards will on Thursday morning unveil their new sponsor, a gaming company weeks after losing their sole sponsor, Mozzart Sport can report. The Patrick Aussems-led team was thrown into limbo when the gaming company that had sponsored them for the last two years threw in the towel citing tough economic times and this left the already cash-strapped side in limbo.##NAJAVA_MECA_6467684##Barely three weeks later, the club has landed another deal with a gaming firm. The deal is said to be worth Ksh. 60 million. The deal is over double what the team was receiving form their immediate former sponsor. The new partner will be unveiled on Thursday morning at a hotel in Nairobi. This newly acquired sponsor comes a huge boost for Ingwe who had to play with a lean squad in their final two games of the season after the players downed tools due to salary delays.”We have a new sponsor on board and we are unveiling them tomorrow. The truth is a number of companies were interested in sponsoring the team but we had to take this one because it was the most suitable for the team,” a source from the den told Mozzart Sport. The company is also said to be in the process of signing a deal with Gor Mahia to complete a double swoop for the two giants of Kenyan football. The two clubs have shared two sponsors in the past and should they ink a deal with Ingwe it will complete a hattrick of shared sponsors between the two arch-rivals.AFC Leopards will unveil their new sponsor tomorrow at the Ole Sereni Hotel.#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/TSlLeYsH78— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) June 22, 2022 The unveiling penciled for Thursday will be attended by club patron Alex Muteshi, former club secretary-general who is also the Makadara Constituency MP, George Aladwa, Westlands MP Timothy Wanyonyi, and club chairman Dan Shikanda among others.Ingwe finished fifth in the just concluded FKF Premier League campaign.
