Kenyan winger moves to Tanzania

Newly promoted Tanzanian Premier League side, Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) FC is set to complete the signing of Kenyan winger Harrison Mwendwa from Zambian side, Kabwe Warriors, Mozzart Sport can confirm.Mwendwa has been with Kabwe for the last one year since he joined the team from AFC Leopards but he is now set to end his association for a Tanzanian experience with the moneyed newly promoted outfit that is in the process of beefing up its squad in readiness for their top-flight campaign.##NAJAVA_MECA_6472638##The player is expected in Tanzania today to sign a deal with the club, this has been confirmed by a source from the club who did not wish to be named. The source further revealed that the club will raid the FKF Premier League for more players with the FKF PL currently on recess after the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.“Mwendwa is landing today in Tanzania to sign his contract. Everything has been agreed upon and what remains is for him to put pen to paper. We are looking for more players from Kenya and we could bring one or two more from the FKF Premier League,” the source told Mozzart Sport.The player had earlier been linked with a move to Simba of Tanzanian but it later merged that rumors were false. Mwendwa has previously turned out for Mathare United, Kariobangi Sharks and AFC Leopards. He has also turned out for Kenya U20, U23 and the senior team.He becomes the latest Kenyan player to move to Tanzania.
