AFC Leopards chairman Dan Shikanda has once again pledged to commence the process of constructing a stadium for the club after he got re-elected for a second term on Sunday during the club polls held at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.##NAJAVA_MECA_6471250##Shikanda floored his only challenger Ronald Namai to bag the seat and he will now be in charge of the club for the next three years. He will serve alongside newly elected Secretary-General Gilbert Andugu and treasurer Oliver Napali who returns after losing during the 2019 polls. He bagged the seat unopposed as the incumbent Maurice Chichi was not cleared to vie.The term is Shikanda’s second and final and the club legend wants to leave a mark. He says the club will soon have access to the land they were awarded in 1992 by the then president the late Daniel Moi. He believes that the club will realize its dream of owning a stadium if the club supporters join hands and work together towards building their own stadium.“As the office, I can assure you we managed to get land for the club. We are proud owners of 20 acres of land between the stadium here and the Goal Project.
