Omurwa moves to Israel as Yidah moves South

Wazito FC captain Johnstone Omurwa has joined Israeli top tier side, Sektzia Ness Ziona FC for an undisclosed period of time.The defender linked up with the Ziona based club and is already training with the team in readiness for the new season that commences in August. He has solid interests from a club in South Africa but opted to move to Israel. ##NAJAVA_MECA_6488504##Omurwa leaves Wazito for the second time. He first joined the team in 2017 after trying out with the club. A season later he linked up with with Mathare United where he lasted for two seasons before returning to Wazito in 2019.He has played for and captained both the Kenya U23 and Harambee Stars team. Last year he led the senior side in a friendly game against South Sudan at the Nyayo National Stadium.His new club was founded in 1955 but reestablished itself and renamed in 2005. The team returned to the top flight at the end of 2021/22 second tier season and will be hoping to maintain its top-flight status as the new season nears its commencement. The defensive midfielder has reportedly reached an agreement with a Premier Soccer (PSL) club and will ink a deal this week. Indefatifable Rooney set to leave for trials in Sweden after impressing at WazitoA product of Ngong Road-based Ligi Ndogo, Sven has previously turned out for Kariobangi Sharks as well. He is a Kenya U23 regular. When he moved to City Stars in 2020, he cemented his place in the team and became a key player for the Nicholas Muyoti led outfit.
