Jens used to be a loveable maverick – now he’s a chainsaw-wielding racist

Former Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehman was so annoyed that his neighbour blocked him the view of the Starnberg that he fired up his chainsaw and went to pay his nemesis a visit! The 52-year-old former Germany international was caught on a surveillance camera cutting his neighbour’s garage beams and thus turning the building into a pile of rubble. Lehmann unsuccessfully tried to cut the wires on the surveillance system, so his whole endeavour was captured on video. On this day in 2003: Arsenal signed goalkeeper Jens Lehmann from Borussia Dortmund for £1.5m. #afc pic.twitter.com/vKRBozAXXD— afcstuff (@afcstuff) July 25, 2022 Jens was always one of those goalkeepers you really don’t want to make angry, and now it turns out that he genuinely is the kind of person you’d prefer to avoid. As reported by Bild, the neighbours have had arguments before, and Lehmann’s latest alleged act is thought to be down to the fact that the garage obstructed his view of the lake. Lehmann claims that as well as blocking his view of the lake, the garage was built on his own land, for which he had paid over $5 million in 2007.The faded footballer is now facing a lawsuit and will most certainly have to pay for the damage he made – estimated at around $10,000.##NAJAVA_MECA_6534682##This story comes a year after Lehmann has been sacked as a member of Hertha Berlin’s board after a black former Germany international Dennis Aogo shared a racist message that Lehmann sent to him. After seeing Aogo had worked as a pundit on Sky Germany, Lehmann sent Aogo a message that clearly wasn’t meant for him.”Is Dennis actually your token Black guy?” read the WhatsApp message published by Aogo on Instagram, along with a smiley face. Aogo added his own text, reading: “WOW, are you serious Jens Lehmann? I guess the message wasn’t meant for me!!!.”Jens #Lehmann doing Jens Lehmann things… pic.twitter.com/WXVAIZeqT5— Mr.Mayhem (@Mr_Mayhem_SoA) July 27, 2022 A year after the racist remark, Lehmann is out of football and is causing problems in his neighbourhood.Whatever you do, don’t give Jens a smartphone and a chainsaw!
