We will be doing everything within our power to rectify that not only for this season, but also to lay strong foundations that will allow for the return of a sustained period of success in the club’s history,” he stated.Despite winning six out of the nine available league titles since 2013 where they dominated the local league until 2020, K’Ogalo have found themselves losing ground as they have finished 8th and 3rd in the last two seasons respectively.##NAJAVA_MECA_6534682##In order to return Gor Mahia back to their glory days, McKinstry will be hoping to use his expertise that saw him win the 2019 CECAFA tournament while serving as the Uganda Cranes head coach. He was also named the Cecafa 2015 coach of the tournament while serving as Rwanda’s national team coach. The Northern Irishman will however have to deal with a Gor Mahia squad that is short on numbers and majorly lacks experience as the club is currently serving a transfer ban from FIFA upto 2023.
