The team is currently serving a FIFA transfer ban they will only be able to recruit players in January 2023″I am pleased to be here. Gor Mahia is one of the most storied clubs and my short-term target is to help the club go back to the top of the table. The last two years have been no doubt a disappointment for all the supporters and stakeholders and my number one priority is to improve the players we have, improve their performance on the field and I believe if we do that we will be back to the top,” he told the club media. He also admitted that there is already pressure for him to deliver at the club. He says the team’s rich history means the supporters have high demands and he has to deliver.Johnathan McKinstry is the new Gor Mahia Coach— KOT OCS👮👮 (@WaruiJohn2) July 29, 2022 “There is always pressure when you go to a new club because everyone thinks you should be winning and that is no different whether you are in a small or big team and here at Gor Mahia, it’s about the rich history and supporters have a right to expect we continue working up, for me, it’s no different,”
