The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has suspended two clubs from the top tier and second tier and the two teams face total expulsion on Friday if they do not resolve their financial issues.The two clubs are Buildcon who play in the Super League and Lusaka Dynamos who got relegated to the second tier at the end of last season. They have been suspended for failing to pay their former players and coaches and have until Friday to settle the dues lest they be expelled from their respective leagues.##NAJAVA_MECA_6557657##Both teams have been reported to FIFA by a number of their former players and coaches for failing to pay them. Among them is the Kenyan duo of Duncan Otieno and Musa Mohamed who played for Dynamos between 2020 and 2021 before leaving midway through their contract to join Kenya Police FC.According to FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala, both teams do not meet the requirements and thus can’t be issued the license to play in their respective Zambian leagues in the 2022/23 season.”We have noticed with great concern that by all indications that these clubs do not meet basic requirements to obtain a license to participate in the forthcoming 2022/23 season.
